She’s got the sort of name that seems to belong in bold type on Page Six. Veronica Lane grew up in Chicago and did a short stint in L.A. “with ambitions to be an actor and model,” but moved back to her hometown of Lombard because she “didn’t dig the industry too much,” she says. Taking things down a notch, Lane currently works at Diamond Bank as a mortgage broker and occasionally models for bar ads. But this nubile 22-year-old nightcrawler knows how to enjoy her off time: “I go out, like, four nights a week in the city and suburbs,” she says. “I sort of hibernate in the fall and winter, but when the weather warms up I’m out all the time.” You can find Lane hanging out at the Lakeview Broadcasting Company, at Crobar, and at the Dark Wave Disco party at Sonotheque. “She’s the girl you want at your club because she turns heads,” says the LBC’s Stephen Westman.
